Dr. Andy Smith attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate studies as well as his veterinary education. He graduated magna cum-laude from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.
A lifetime Atlanta-area native, he practiced for five years in Lilburn before coming to PFAH in November of 1987. He is a past board member, vice president, and president of Sandy Springs Animal Emergency Clinic. He served as a board member and vice president of the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Society and was also a member of the Ethics Committee of the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Smith’s family includes three dogs (Murphy, Blaze, & Wally) and two cats (Mischief & Bella). He is an avid cyclist; he hopes his clients do not mind sharing their neighborhood roads with him. Dr. Smith feels truly fortunate to work with an amazing group of veterinarians and staff members all of whom he is proud to consider friends.
