Dr Nina Marano joined Powers Ferry Animal Hospital in 1991. She holds a DVM degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health.
Dr Marano worked part time at Powers Ferry Animal Hospital while also pursuing a career in public health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She retired from CDC in 2021, and is thrilled to continue providing small animal medical care for PFAH’s pet population.
Dr Marano and her husband Fred enjoy traveling, cycling and spending time with their grandchildren and their cat Maisel.
